Old style never gets old! Bought this headpiece to use for historical reenactment! Very appropriate! Lots of folks asking where I got it, made sure they knew, Vermont Country Store!!!!! March 7, 2014
Love it; have one quibble This cozy ear-warmer bonnet was just what I needed, and I love it. My one quibble is that the fiber content/washing instruction tag is so firmly affixed that I had a terrible time trying to get it off without cutting into the actual fabric. I don't think there's any need to keep that tag on the bonnet forever, but I may have to do that! February 7, 2014
I wore a hat like this when I was little I have 5 sisters and grew up outside of Buffalo, NY. When I was little, we all wore hats like this one but my mother called them 'half hats'. When I saw this hat in the catalogue, I had to buy it and tell my sisters about my childhood memories! I live in Virginia now and have not had a chance to wear my new hat, but I put it on inside and I know it will be nice to wear on a cold snowy day. These hats are nice for under hoods since they give that added warmth and I don't remember having hat hair from them. January 2, 2014
Childhood Bonnet As a child from the late 40's, I wore a winter bonnet just like this one. Thank You Vermont Country for giving me a walk down memory lane, and keeping my hair neat and my head warm. I do not find this mohair blend to be scratchy at all. Will be ordering more for gifts. December 26, 2013
had one when I was a child I love this bonnet so much that I am buying one in another color. It is soft, warm and lightweight and does not ruin my hairstyle. December 15, 2013
Toasty Warm hat - and no "hat hair". A couple years ago, a bought this hat for my sister for Christmas, and she loved it so much, I bought it in another color. She wears them all the time when the weather is cold, and says it keeps her head and ears toasty warm without messing up her hairdo. This year, I bought her two more in the newest colors. I know she will love them and now has a hat to match all of her winter coats. December 7, 2013
Cozy little Bonnet I like these bonnet's or "scarfs" because they are old fashioned and cute and yet really keep you warm!! You do not find these in stores, not this style anyway. I am happy that new colors have been added. they are pretty comfy and super warm, the only flaw would be that the tie can itch a little bit, but they are still very nice and would recommend them for sure!! I got the black and red this time, but last year I got the beige and they are all very pretty!! November 22, 2013
Happy to see such a nice practical head scarf. I am elderly and wear a wig. I like to be warm especially here in our cold Wisconsin winters. It is most difficult to find something that covers my ears, and still looks nice and cozy like this head covering. I am "almost" looking forward to cold weather again. At least now I am preapared. Thank you for bringing back good quality practical clothing. You just cannot find anything this nice in the stores these days. July 2, 2013
