Nice material; nicely made; didn't give it 5 stars as the color faded a bit after first wash - too bad; I really liked the vibrant colors.

I loved the mumu, even though I have to hem it for my 5'3" height. I thought the fabric was too gauzy, which is nice for summer, but not good for modesty. However I've decided to ignore that aspect and hope nobody gets exercised about my panties.
The company was very good to accept a return of a mumu with a pattern I didn't like in exchange for another that I did.
I would buy more mumus, except the thin, gauzy aspect of the fabric turns me off. I've searched through pattern books for mumu patterns, since I sew, but no luck. I'm tired of wearing shorts and t-shirts all the time. A mumu is a good substitute. Get more in your inventory that aren't so see-through.

Years ago I had a lovely turquoise and white muumuu from Vermont Country Store. I've been looking for a similar one ever since and finally had to settle for this item. it's ok but not nearly as stylish or substantial as my previous one. SI'm keeping it as I've given up finding anything better.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by kws Not as nice as the previous ones.
This is the third muumuu that I have ordered over a period of years. This one is not the quality of fabric or workmanship that the others were. There is much less fullness and the fabric is much more rough and crude than the others.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Lollipop I love these muumuu!
I also ordered the Ivory which is a perfect color for summer but got a mostly black muumuu. It is beautiful and I will keep it but I was disappointed to not be able to get the one pictured in the different choices. In Hawaii muumuu are worn everywhere. It is in fact, a dress. Even though I sleep in a couple of mine that I have designated sleep wear, I feel quite comfortable wearing one of my designated going out muumuu to the store or picnic and even to church. It is feminine and reminds me of the times when women wore long dresses all the time. I buy the ankle length because it is long and flowing and I love the tiered look. I take a small and there is plenty of room. I'm 5' 3" and the dresses come to my ankle which is perfect. It doesn't drag on the floor at all. I wash in cold water and line dry and experience no shrinkage. I wash them all separately in extra small setting. I wish I could get the Ivory muumuu which is the white one.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Chic grandma. I love these mum-muus!
I have purchased multiple numbers of mud-muus from Vermont Country Store, in sleeveless, short, and long, and I love them all. They can be worn out or at home, are very comfortable, and are very pretty with so many pretty patterns and colors. Whenever I want a little lift, I buy the latest new colors or prints, and I feel pretty and comfortable at the same time!

I have ordered this product many times. It is my nightgown, but also good for walking around during the day before getting dressed. Good quality and also attractive.

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Womens Ankle Length Muumuu …
"I just bought my very first muumuu and I love it. The "ankle length" is a little longer than mid-calf on me, as I am tall. The length is perfect, colors are beautiful, and the comfort is...ahhh! I'm ordering another right now. Great article of clothing at a fair price. Thanks." - Jeanne Urbanski, Coral, MI
"I am 4'10", 110 lbs, and 60 yrs old. I also have had MS for 45 yrs. I cannot do buttons or zippers. This is "pull-over-head" easy & beats living in my robe. I can easily go out to garden or visit a Dr. in this. It is flattering, non-binding, & easy to care for. I could easily live in these from spring though the autumn. The pattern makes for easy hemming. Easy to go from gardening to napping. Thanks." - Janice, Grand Junction, CO
"I have owned this garment in two different colors for several years. It is perfect while traveling for walking the dog, throwing over a swimsuit or over a nightgown to go for that morning cup of coffee at the breakfast bar at your motel. I use it as my "soft clothes" if I ever have time to lounge around the house with my dog on my lap. I want the pink one too~" - Caroline Peyton, Brentwood,
"As you probably already know, I have ordered many muumuus from you. I teach six oil painting classes a week, and these muumuus are so comfy and colorful to wear while teaching and writing my kids' books -- I just keep adding more to my collection." - Riki Lipe, Springfield, MO
"I love this muumuu. It is sooo comfortable and very pretty. I'm just under 5'5 , so it is ankle length and a bit more, which I love. It will be perfect when I travel this summer to wear to go to the hotel lobby and pick up coffee and breakfast. Nicest purchase I've made in a long time." - Mary Brown, Abilene, TX
”I ordered this in the ankle length and will be planning on ordering more. The Texas heat is already upon us, and after the sweltering summer of 2011, this is most welcome. Glad you carry clothing that makes sense, especially to those of us who now crave comfort over the latest fad!” - Sonia Huger, Austin, TX
"This is the most versatile piece of clothing I have ever come across. I must have 6 or 8 by now and am still wearing the first ones I bought almost 10 years ago. They are so well constructed, I have never needed to mend one, and I wear them in the garden, on the patio, when I work clay, and even if I should decide I might try cooking again. I have a non-progressive illness that has run me from a natural walk in heels to now a power chair. I also have a condition that occasionally makes wearing any kind of clothing agony on my skin. These gowns are the closest to having to be decent and still nothing binding, I just wish there were some in warmer cloth so they could be worn year-round. I have two of the thermal ones you had for a season or two, and in the winter indoors, those are my clothes! Neighbors probably think I never change clothes because they are identical, but I do wash them between wearings. Thanks a million for a great product." - Shari Peavy, Salyersville, KY
