Button hole issue
I really like this dress! The square neckline is flattering and I much prefer the front pockets in this dress to the side seam pockets that so many other dresses have.
The only negative is that the button holes are poorly sewn. Several of them became frayed after the first wash, and I hadn't even worn the dress yet! I reinforced the button holes and everything seems to be fixed now...no seams coming apart as some had mentioned in earlier reviews.
The dress did shrink some, to my delight! It was just a tad big, not enough to order a smaller size, but I'm quite happy that a regular wash and dry cycle improved the fit for me.
I like it so much I have ordered another one in a different color!

Disappointed
The size I ordered was right on. However, for the price, the quality was very poor. Would have felt better if I had gotten what I paid for. This is the only product I have ever returned to VCS . I commend them on their customer service. They always get it right as far as cooperation.

Poor quality
My husband and I like Vermont and shop a lot here. But I was so disappointed on this dress. I did not wear it often. After washing, it was torn at the seam close the pocket. My husband threw it away .

comfy dress...made in USA
This is a cute, crisp dress. I try to avoid slave and sweat clothes...no light problem!
Why aren't the denims made here anymore?

Comfy & practical
Great housedress; not frumpy looking. It's comfortable & I love the big buttons & pockets. My only complaint is that the bottom button pulls a little bit but I am very happy with the purchase.

CS Customer Service and this dress is TOPS!!!
I purchased the "seersucker button front dress" in my size, medium, and when I received it, it was too small. When I talked to a customer service rep. she gave me the measurements of the size medium, when I remeasured the dress, she and I both thought the label on the dress was not right, and the dress was an actual size small. So another medium was sent. But....here's the greatest.....she personally went back to the inventory, measured another medium herself to make sure I got the actual medium. It fits wonderful, and I can't tell you the quality is top notch for the pricing. It looks just like the photo on. I will definitely be back for more. This was my first experience with CS, and I have to say they go more than the extra mile!!! Thanks for this prompt in my email, I wanted to call and thank you! Bravo and thanks!

This dress is very cool and cute.
The red seersucker dress fits perfectly and is a great color on me. The blue color did not become me, and the green color did not fit the same as the red. It was a little bigger.

Big pockets
I never liked wearing pants but I do miss having pockets in clothing. This dress fits the bill. Large pockets in a full button front dress - perfect! As I age getting things over my head is not as easy as it once was. The large buttons are easy to manage. Life made more easy - Love it!
