Very comfortable dress I actually ordered three last year. They are very comfortable and I just lived in them for the summer. I did not think the fabric was too thin at all, as one reviewer wrote. By the end of the summer, I really wore this dress out and now I use it for a nightgown! I would like to see this dress in a longer length. I'm fairly tall and this dress did not come below my knee, so I didn't feel I could wear it to shop or do errands. May 2, 2013
Comfortable for Summer I like this dress and will be wearing it this summer. The fabric is too light for cooler weather. I like the cut and the length, and it is cute with flats and "keds" for running errands. I might like another one if it came in solid colors, especially navy or royal blue, but I'll have to see how this one washes first. March 29, 2013
It is what they say... Wrinkle resistant, 100% cotton. Made well. Fits great, very comfy and drapes nicely. the reason I gave this only 3 stars is that the material is so very thin. I do not care to wear a full slip under my summer dresses but, it will be necessary with this as you can see through it. A heavier weight cotton however,would have been much appreciated. The service and ease of ordering was very nice and I certainly will order from Vermont again. March 20, 2013

My favorite Vermont Country Store Summer Dress I never write these things, but I had to in response to that one very negative review. I tried on just about every Vermont Country Store summer dress while visit friends in Chester and Fairlee, and this fit the best, hands down. It hits just below the knee, hangs/swings with a flattering-skimming fit, and has hidden pockets at the side seams where I tuck my cellphone. I bought two colors that day. There is nothing like 100% cotton on hot summer days. I got lots of compliments and these became my almost-daily summer go-to dresses. Later last summer I mail ordered the other two colors. Can't beat the price. Easy care, too. I just machine wash in cold and line dry. The knit and the small pattern makes ironing optional unless you are fussy. With a simple necklace and earrings and a nice pair of sandals and maybe a light sweater for cool evenings, these dresses go from day to night and are perfect for a summer evening out in Boston. I intend to order more before I wear these out. December 12, 2012
