Button-Front Flannel Dress
I have this dress in two colors, blue & black and black watch plaid. I enjoy the soft drape and roomy fit which allows a turtleneck to be worn under it if the weather requires.
I read in advance of the purchase concerns about the thin flannel so was prepared for that. It makes it more versatile for my climate than a heaver flannel.

This dress is wonderful, it is very comfortable and will keep the chill out on a cold day, the size is an excellent fit. and the color is beautiful I love the Scottish navy plaid.

This is a light flannel, which makes it OK for moderate weather, but not real cold weather. I bought the green plaid. It doesn't look like real Black Watch but it's a nice shade of green. It's a little snug across the bust for me, but loose everywhere else. I'm short so it needs shortening. All and all, an OK dress but nothing special.

Sleeves too tight
For a size 2X, I'd think the sleeves would be a bit looser.
Other than that, I like the dress, and the fact that it has pockets.

true black watch
I recently ordered 2 flannel dresses and the black velour jumper! all fit perfectly! I told the person who I was ordering from the history of the black watch tartan. they were most feared by the Scottish highlanders...sort of maybe like a Hitler SS ! also note that the kilt you have is not true black watch. has a red line through it! call it modified, gentrified or americanized black watch !!!!

Perfect Winter Dress-For travel doubles as nightgown.
Love it. Runs large. Washed immediately and shrunk to just what I wanted.
I don't know how gift wrap charge of $5 appeared as I'm pretty literate and wouldn't have chosen that.
Will call for credit when I have time.

Poor quality for the price
I love the look of this, and ordered one in each color. Cute, warm, and was the backbone of my wardrobe last winter.
BUT! The fabric is thin and pilly, the facings were not stitched down, but wrinkled up into wadded strips each wash, and it shrank quite a bit over the winter.
I took a few evenings, a needle and thread, and stitched down the facings (which the manufacturer should have done). If I had not done this, it would have required irong each wash. (Who irons flannel?)
I also stitched the placket closed, as the widely spaced buttons made for gaps (kind of like a robe or gown). AFTER THAT, it was a functional and cosy dress, but for that price, I shouldn't have HAD to do that, you know?
And now . . . they're too worn to wear another year. I need something just like these, but better quality. These come in plus sizes, as I need, and there's not much on the market like this, which is a pity. I just wish they were better quality.

nice cozy flannel dress
I wear it as a bathrobe and it is pretty wonderful here in the tropics where a light flannel robe is good in the wintertime.
