Pretty and Practical, 100% Cotton Batiste Hankies with Floral Embroidery

Once a must-have for every lady, pure cotton handkerchiefs are hard to find these days. We offer two lovely embroidered styles to choose from: delicate white-on-white embroidery on 10" squares, and 11" squares of white cotton embroidered with four floral patterns in pastel shades of pink, blue, green, and yellow. You'll receive 12 hankies in each package. Machine wash and dry. Imported.

12 exactly alike hankies??? I've been buying these hankies for years. The last order needed replacing, after years of use. So, I ordered a set of assorted embroidered ladies hankies. Assorted?? NOT. Passing on the Tradition My mother gave my sister and I a hankerchief in our Christmas stocking every year. Once we moved out of the house, she continued the tradition by making sure there was a small box to open with a new hankerchief to add to our collection. My mom passed away very unexpectedly last November. Christmas came and there wasn't a box to open from my Mother with a hankerchief and we didn't even think about it at the time. But this year, I'm starting the tradition with my own daughter. It is something that belongs with Christmas; Mom and daughter bonding over their annual Christmas hankerchiefs. December 6, 2012
A Hankering for Hankies My niece got married in June 2012 and at the last minute we realized we had forgotten to buy the cloth handkerchief which we traditionally gift each bride in our family with to carry down the aisle. It was my job to find one and get it to the church on time. There were none to be found except at the local wedding shop where I ended up paying a ridiculous price for one. I learned my lesson. With another niece's wedding planned for September 2012, I was thrilled to learn that Vermont Country Store carries just what I needed at a more than reasonable price. Not only was I able to get a beautiful handkerchief—I ordered the 12-pak white on white—for niece number two, but I have also begun enclosing one of these lovely cloth handkerchiefs in sympathy cards. difficult to locate it has become increasingly difficult to locate fine hankies. I crochet a lace edge on them and send them with birthday, anniversary, get well and sympathy cards for all my lady family and friends and now granddaughters. I get a lot of oohs and aahs and they get something pretty to use and remember their special day. November 7, 2012
My favorite hankie for many years I put these beautifully made handkerchiefs in my pocket instead of paper tissues. I rarely check pockets before clothes go in the washer and this way no lint! They also make wonderful hostess gifts. August 20, 2012
