I purchased these socks in white for my Dad. He dislikes how other socks are binding and too tight on his legs. He called me to say he loves them!! Couldn't get them anywhere else except VCS. Thank you!!

Thought this product wild solve my problem of elastic pinching into my calves, cutting off circulation. These socks are way too thin to be worn in street shoes or boots. After three hours of wear the cotton balls up, and a hole appeared at the top cuff. These socks are more appropriate for house bound slipper wearing.

I was surprised each sock had 4 strands of elastic at the top. I couldn't wear the socks with the elastic; however, after I removed the elastic, the socks were fine and I like them. It was a little problem at first removing the elastic, but after a few socks, I figured it out.

I purchased these for my Husband has he had a broken ankle a couple of years ago and could not wear or stand socks that were tight around the ankle. We looked all around our area and could not find anything like these
and then I thought of Vermont Country Store. He loves these socks and they are not tight at all as we have ordered several pairs. He is very pleased that we found them and will probably order more.

I had hoped to receive a crew sock similar to crew socks sold by mens shops broadly i.e. heavy cotton socks designed for athletic use. While the pictures looked good, on arrival the socks were of the thinest material possible - so thin that in fact I had to discard them, they were useless.

The socks were advertised as non-elastic crew socks. Perhaps some elastic would help them stay up. Within minutes of putting them on they were around my ankles. I made a poor choice. At the end of the day, they all went in the trash.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bud Summers Found some men's socks I am not allergic to
As I grow older, I have developed a skin allergy that seems to be to plastic and nylon. It appears that wearing cotton socks overcomes the problem. I wore the white socks for two weeks with no problem. Now I am in the third week of wearing all of the colors, one at a time, with no problems.
My allergy is my ankles swell, itch, turn red, and peal. And my feet swell and itch. I am also alergic to sun shine and floresent lights.
