The Wind-Up Wonder
My first watch was a wind-up one. I always liked the idea of a wind-up watch. You know, not being tied down to a battery which may expire unexpectedly. When I was a boy and had my first watch, it was my responsibility to make sure it be wound up every day. And knowing that my little exertion of winding up the watch helped keep the watch running involved me in the process. I still like that idea.
This particular wind-up watch that I bought from the Vermont Country Store has brought that sense of wonder back. The first time I wound it up, I wanted to see exactly how long it would take before it stopped. Well, here's the answer: On the first full wind-up, the watch ran for 39 hours and 29 minutes. I was really impressed. And it really keeps excellent time. My family and co-workers initially didn't understand why I enjoy it so much. But now they're curious about it. I'm very happy with my new wind-up watch.

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Men's Wind-Up Watch …
"I love the simple mechanics of a wind-up mechanical watch; it feels very romantic. I've tried to find a simple watch like this for a while and this is by far the best around. I really hope you never stop selling this watch. I love it and plan to get another if mine ever stops, but because I power it, it won't." - Paul, San Diego, CA
