Vegetable shortening (partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed
oil), Butter, Sugar, Eggs, Yeast, Non-fat dry milk powder, Artificial
lemon flavor, Salt, Vanilla, Artificial vanilla (propylene glycol, vanillin),
Mono and diglycerides with BHT and Citric acid as preservatives,
Leavening (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, monocalcium
phosphate), Wheat starch, Dry whole eggs, Soy flour, Potato
flour, Dry whey, Vital Wheat gluten, Corn starch, Sodium stearoyl
lactylate, Sodium propinate and sodium benzoate (preservative),
Beta carotene as color, Vitamin A palmitate added.
Filling: Cheese, Powdered sugar, Egg whites, Tapioca, Vegetable
shortening (partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oil),
Lemon juice, Vanilla, Salt, Sodium benzoate (preservative).

Scrumptious! We savored this delicious treat after brunch on Christmas day & again with friends during a holiday evening. I had received it earlier in the season & froze it. I was afraid the powdered sugar topping would 'turn mushy' when it thawed. It did not. The cream cheese filling was so buttery & fluffy inside the light pastry! Mmmmm. Wish we had more right now- will definitely order this again. May become a new Christmas brunch tradition! December 29, 2012
Brunch cake is a success! My son and his fiance came for Thanksgiving this year and for one morning I served the cream cheese filled Brunch Cake. It was a resounding success.
