Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not "fill the room" with scent ... I was disappointed with this product for the following reasons: 1. Instructions are to put several drops of the fragrance oil in the diffuser, but the glass bottle does not have a droplet dispenser, so the only option is to POUR the oil into the diffuser, and it's hard to prevent some from spilling onto the outside of the chickadee (an all over my hands). A plastic bottle with a droplet dispenser would have been a better solution. 2. So I ended up putting much more than a few drops of oil into the diffuser, meaning that the oil is not going to last very long (and see point 3). 3. Even with a half bottle of oil in the diffuser, the scent could only be detected by bringing my nose right up to the chickadee. I have hung the chickadee on my (artificial) Christmas tree, but there's no evidence of scent in the room, even when standing right next to the tree. I would not recommend this product as any more than a tree ornament - it definitely fails completely as a scent diffuser. December 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I'm glad I bought it. This was hung on the Christmas tree last evening and as promised the room is filled with the scent of freshly-cut evergreen. It does not smell of scouring powder or cheap scented candles but really does smell like evergreens. From a distance my artificial tree passes for real, almost. Thanks for offering this. Rated 2 out of 5 by Great idea, but…. I was disappointed in the length of time the scent was detected between applications. Not really worth the money - overpriced! December 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Balsam Diffuser I really enjoy the scent from the Balsam Diffuser, it smells almost exactly like my Christmas tree! I have found it's best to add three or four drops a day, more than that will really overpower the room. January 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Memories of balsam/pine Love the chickadee diffuser and balsam smell. Have it in the kitchen and handy. Place liquid drops every few days. Was given as a gift for Christmas and a wonderful gift...unique. January 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for an artificial tree The natural fragrance of balsam fills the room from this adorable clay bird. December 27, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Good Instructions say to use "a few drops" which resulted in no smell at all. We removed it from the tree to add more product, but the cork stopper would not budge. It quickly crumbled into the chickadee. Very difficult to get cork debris out. Now we are searching for a stopper that will fit the opening. It's a very busy time of the year and not happy to be trying to make a product work that we've only had for a few days. December 20, 2012
