Monopoly 1935 Deluxe Edition

1st Edition 1935 Monopoly, Wooden Houses and All

Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200—if you don't invest in this reproduction of the game that taught us that buying and selling real estate is a good thing. This 1935 replica Monopoly (the year the game was introduced) strikes all the right notes: a heavyweight game board with the original artwork; Chance and Community Chest cards illustrated with the 1935 designs; and all the original tokens in silver-tone metal. A great gift. For ages 8 and up.

  • Houses and hotels are wooden, not plastic
  • All artwork replicates the original from the first edition of this popular game
  • Includes the 16-page "Monopoly Memories" booklet which reveals little-known facts about the game

This reproduction of the 1935 Monopoly game has vintage charm.

I wanted one of the original editions I'm partial to the older version since it has been around so many years. Thanks for offering it to customers!! March 13, 2013
I'm Thirteen Again First learned to play Monopoly when I would spend Saturday afternoons across the street with a friend and classmate. The wooden houses and hotels, bring back such great memories. I always chose the thimble, and still do. I'm 65 now, but remember being 13 and Monopoly being "the game". I still play a lot of Monopoly -- and still love it just as much. I found it! My sister-in-law told me that my nephew would love a monopoly game for Christmas. He has one of the new "electronic" ones but wanted one with real money and wooden houses. I went strait to your catalog. January 9, 2013
