Childhood Memories
I purchased this item for my 66 year-old brother. When he was a boy he had a similar sub that he obtained by sending in boxtops. I think they were cereal boxtops. What a great way to bring back childhood fun memories!

Subs for my 4 yr old Grandson!
As always, Vermont Country Store came through with yet another 'blast from the past'! My brothers and my husband all had these when they were little, and my Grandson thinks they are 'awesome'! Thanks! You are an amazing company!

Boy's childhood memories.
I bought these for my husband. He kept commenting on these toys that he had growing up. When I saw them I had to get them for Christmas.

Military Brats and the Sub
In the 1950's we were stationed all over the place and I remember when we were in Naples, Italy with a big naval port someone gave our family 2 of these subs. The bathtub stayed so busy and we soon ran out of baking soda which finally gave Mom some relief from all the fussing about whose turn it was to play with them. There were 6 kids at the time so it could get loud. The subs never failed, as long as you had baking soda, you were good to go. Good memories.
