Brings back old memories! How wonderful to see one of these real slinkies again! My father got me one when I was 9 years old. (I'm 76 now.) We lived upstairs over our business, with a long flight of stairs---the hours I spent with my little dog chasing the slinky down those steps is one of the best memories I have of childhood. I'm ordering it now, just for myself. I have no family, but my present little dog now has steps to get herself onto the bed, so I'll see what she thinks of slinky coming down them. After all, growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional. December 3, 2012
