Slumber Birds ân Berries Nightgown
Mom's favorite nightgown
My mother often wished for a flannel night gown she had some years ago and when I saw this in your catalog I knew I had to take a chance as the description matched my mother's request.
WHAT A WINNER! The flannel was the perfect weight for cold Ohio winters and the length was perfect for my 5'2" mom as I was concerned about her tripping on the hemline - no worries!
She has already washed it several times and the gown keeps its shape and only becomes more soft and more comfortable. Given she is a bird lover the pattern was perfect. The pockets are a bonus!

Soft and cuddly, but neck was lower than I thought it would be.

I first ordered this nightgown because it has pockets, I liked the pattern on the fabric, the special trim and buttons, and the length (for me, I'm 5'4 1/2," long enough, but not so long as to trip over the hem going up and down stairs). Unlike some, I love the lower neckline as I can always use a scarf if I'm cold, but don't "strangle" while sleeping as I do with the higher necklines. Also, I do like the heft of the fabric. It's more substantial than my other flannel gowns.

My mother picked this out from your site based on the pattern of birds and flowers; two of her favorite things. When we got it home I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item; the material was substantial without being too heavy. The details put into this product are great; it has two hidden side pockets great for storing tissues and the little heart shaped buttons at the neckline where a nice surprise. It fits true to size.

Not what I expected
This nightgown has a pretty pattern and great pockets on the side, however it is not good quality. After minimal wear and gentle laundering in cold water, the fabric began to pill significantly and it shrank about two inches. I also found a very large clump of lint from the fabric in the lint catcher of my dryer. I have never seen anything like it!! The product does not live up to manufacturer's claims of quality. I've worn these nightgowns over the years and have noticed a distinct decline in quality.

it does get cold in California
I've bought lots of other flannel gowns, they all end up in the rag bag after a year or two. I finally decided to get what my grandmother always sent us and am glad I did. Bought 3 more for my sisters. Could not be happier. Cozy and softer than anything else I have tried.

For my 90 year old Mother
Got this for her along with a shoulder shrug that I thought she might enjoy. She loves it and says" its made of that oldfashioned real good flannel I just loved as a child. And the cosy is nice too. Dont have to get dressed so soon in the morning to get warm."

This nightgown is very pretty, but the neckline is MUCH too low, cut out way too far. It almost falls off my shoulders. It is so low that I have to wear a T shirt underneath to keep warm. I ordered a size M, which is my customary size, but the nightgown is just cut too low. I have been trying to think of a way to alter the neckline to make it higher, but have not thought f a solution yet.
