One like Grandma's Been looking for a gumdrop tree like our Grandmother had and finally found it in the Vermont Store. I ordered one for each of my siblings and one for myself. So happy to find it and have enjoyed my gumdrops and my tree. Thanks January 11, 2014
Making a Tradition... I have Twin 2yr old Grandchildren that Love to do crafts!! I purchased a kit for each of them. This was a perfect "Memory Making" time for us, that will be a family tradition for years to come ! Watching them choose their color and choose their Branch while we chatted was so much fun ! Not to mention the "chipmunk cheeks" while we tasted each color. Very yummy & the larger Gumdrops made the perfect size ! We added the trees to our Gingerbread House village, we will be coming for more next Christmas ! January 5, 2014
A Blast from my Past! My mother brought out our Gumdrop Tree for every holiday and birthday throughout the years while I was growing up. While my brother, sisters and I loved it, I'd forgotten about it until I saw it in your catalogue. This year every family I love received one with a bag of gumdrops. Now there are 4 families, from Michigan to Pennsylvania, I regularly visit who will be happy to see me- if I'm carrying another bag of gumdrops! Seeing this Gumdrop Tree on their tabletops feels so good to me. Thank you! January 3, 2014
A Christmas Tradition One of our sons was disappointed after a move when we could not find our Gumdrop Tree. You have helped us maintain a Christmas Tradition in this tree has satisfied his want with two small children for a new tradition for his family. Thank you for stocking the Gumdrop Tree! Good Idea To Tell Who Gift Is From As ageing grandparents we spend more on our grandchildren than we do on our children. However we do like to send some sign of rememberance to our middle age children as well. Having taken care of the Christmas gifts for our Grandchildren we came across the gum drop tree and knew right away that was what we could order for our grown children. Having them mailed to them seemed like a great idea. However for our youngest son we failed to put who it was from. This caused him some concern when he received a gift from the Vermont Country Store without knowing who it was from. We had a big laugh when he told us about calling the store thinking it was some kind of scam. He was treated very nicely by the person on the phone and explaned that it was a gift from his parents. Our granddaughter was pleased when we gave her the new Winter Catalog of many items that she had never heard of. We have ordered two Bed Spreads in previous months and my wife is pleased to show them off. We appreciate the GREAT SERVICE that we have enjoyed by your company. One day in the future (health permitting) we hope to visit your store. December 30, 2013
Oh, Goodie Gumdrops! Each year, our family has a "mystery gift". We draw names and whomever wins it, provides next year's mystery gift. It's become a bit of a contest the past few years, to try to find unique and surprising gifts. It was my turn to get the mystery present this year, and I immediately thought of the Vermont Country Store. Fortunately, it was my 3 year old niece who won this year and she absolutely loved this Gumdrop Tree...especially the JUMBO gumdrops. She's already asked her Mom to keep it up all year! Great gift! The past lives! Our granddaughter is allergic to nuts - severely - and thus unable to eat many of the Christmas cookies that are traditional in our family. She and I put together the gum drop tree and she knew that those were "safe". On Christmas eve, her 6 yr. old cousin insisted the tree be filled and that the top three gum drops be red to see if Santa came. Of course he did, and loved those red gum drops! Thanks for happy memories for our grands. December 27, 2013
Granny's gum drop tree I had my gum drop tree for 30 years before it finally fell apart from old age. I was thrilled to find that Vermont Country Store had them for sale. I'm very satisfied with my new gum drop tree. It is just like the old one. My only little complaint is that the gum drops that came with it are far too large for this delicate tree and they aren't very tasty. This tree needs the small gum drops, not only for weight but also because it is much prettier with the small candies. Gum drop trees have been a tradition in my home and my mother's before me for a total of 85 years. I ordered one for my daughter too, so the tradition will continue. Thank you Vermont Country Store for providing these traditional gum drop trees. December 16, 2013

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Gumdrop Tree …

"I haven't seen one of these gumdrop trees since I was a child in the 50's. My brothers and I loved to poke the gumdrops onto the branches. Of course, we enjoyed eating them even more. I'm going to order one of these for my grandson and maybe even one for myself." - Susan Evans, Springville, UT

"My family, when I was growing up, would go to Buckroe Beach Amusement Park where we would spend our summer nights for one week having fun and riding the rides. My most special memories were paying $.10 and pulling a string and winning a prize! I pulled the string one night and won the Gumdrop Tree. Many (many) years have past and my mother has used that little gumdrop tree every year somewhere in the kitchen for us to pluck the gumdrops off when we visit over the holidays. So, I would like to get one for my family and give one away to a friend." - Cathy Reiner, Richmond, VA

"Reminds me of when I was a little girl picking gumdrops off of the same one like this one. I did this for my children. Now need one for my grands." - jamie, charlotte, NC

"We are ordering this for my dad, as he remembers his mom having one @Christmas time years ago and hasn't been able to find one...this will be a nice suprise for him." - lisa ketcham, plymouth, IN

"Like so many of your products, the gumdrop tree brings back sweet memories of Christmas growing up in the 50s and 60s. I used to love to add gumdrops as they disappeared. The tree was almost bare by Christmas day. Between this item and the barley pops I can revisit my childhood with my daughters over the holidays." - Maureen, Mooresto, NJ
