When I was a kid we used to put peppermint sticks in lemons during the summer. I couldn't find the right peppermint sticks until now. Forget the lemons! I've been eating them straight out of the package. They melt in your mouth and are sooooo good!

I always have a jar of these on hand. A small number of calories for a tasty treat.

These peppermint sticks are a huge hit around here. Was expecting a small bag of peppermint sticks and was thrilled to see a whole jar of them. Just ordered a jar for my uncle as he has melanoma and think these will do well on his stomach... This is the best find of the year.

I bought is candy in part because of the description, peppermint sticks jar. I wanted to give it as a gift. What I got was a huge unattractive plastic jug with an industrial looking label on it. Very much not a jar, nor nice enough to use as a gift as is. Maybe change the description and add a photo of the product, as currently it is very very misleading.

When I saw them in catalog they immediately reminded me of my Grandma in Virginia! She used to keep them on her coffee table when we went to visit. As soon as I tasted it, you know the saying "brought tears to my eyes". It was like being with her again.
They are addictive - 1 leads to 2, 3, etc, etc.

When I ordered this peppermint, I didn't realize it was the softer, chewier variety. A 3 and half pound container just wasn't enough to satisfy my adult kids and grandchildren. Another order has already been placed and is eagerly awaited.

I ordered the peppermint sticks specifically for what we campers call orange sodas. (Roll an orange on a hard surface to soften & make juicy, make a small hole on one side, bite a little off both ends of the candy, then poke the candy into the hole & gently squeeze while sucking the juice through the peppermint stick - delicious! There's a picture of one right under the product picture. Unfortunately the peppermint sticks do not work for this treat. They are way to short, and they dissolve very too quickly. . . very misleading.
