THANKS GRANDMA & GRANDPA. Brings back great memories. When I was a litle girl back in the 40's, grandma/grandpa gave me horehound when I had a sore throat. It's hard to find these days and I'm so glad The Vermont Country Story stocks Horehound Drops. March 28, 2013
Grandpa's Favorite - Back Again! Was SO happy to see these tasty candy drops again - brought me right back to reading the Sunday comics with my Grandpa Murph while we went through half a bag of horehound drops (with Grandma yelling at us for ruining our appetites)! The taste of horehound is unique and will really take you back. Only negative is that I remember the flavor being stronger, but still, get yourself a bag and share them and the Sunday paper with your grandkids, while Grandma puts the finishing touches on the pot roast.... Hard to find item I continue to search for Horehound Drops locally but noone has even heard of them. Back to Vermont Country Store! They have never let me down on anything as ancient as I am. Thanks again! January 23, 2013
Old Fashioned Treat and Remedy My elderly father remembers these as a treat more than a remedy, so I often order them for him from VCS. November 11, 2012
Dad loves these! My dad used to buy horehound drops from a now-discontinued company, so when I saw these I thought I'd get them. He has to hide some as his buddies also try to cadge 'em. November 3, 2012

"When I was a little girl my favorite uncle always brought us Horehound Drops. He made a joke and would ask us what kind of candy we would like, horehound drops or anything else, but that was the only candy he had...so we loved it...." - Joyce Aldrich, Clare, MI
