Wood Sticks Yea! I prefer wood stick cotton swabs but haven't been able to find in stores for a long time so I buy online. Other sites offer wood stick cotton swabs but they are not the same quality as Vermont Country Store's. Sturdy sticks that very rarely break with ample cotton on the tips plus excellent customer service makes me a repeat customer! November 21, 2014
Wood Sticks-yeah!! I have scar tissue in my ears from past infections and need to scratch occasionally. The cardboard sticks just don't work well. I looked for several years when wood sticks were fazed out by the large companies and was delighted when I found that you carried wooden stick swabs. Thank you for that. April 22, 2014
Great quality Vermont Country Store is the only place to find these wooden swabs. Great quality. I've tried some from other places and they're just not as good. October 22, 2013
Made my sons day! My 40 year old son always loved these wooden Q-tips. Over the years I moved, to another state,he moved and we lost track of everyday things! When I saw these online something clicked and I remembered! Gave it to him as a little joke gift along with the JackDaniels Chocolate. I swear he had a tear in his eye! We laughed so hard!Next time he wants a case! Thank you..... December 26, 2012
A perfect substitute brand I used to be able to find wooden-stick swabs in the drug stores I frequent. No longer. Thank you to The VCS for stocking this brand. While they are relatively expensive, they seem to be the only game in town when it comes to wooden-stick swabs. September 3, 2012

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Wooden Cotton Swabs (Set of 2 Boxes) …

"Beginning years and years ago, my father personally made swabs with sticks and cotton for our family of four. As married and had children, I could buy them at the drug store. Both pre- and post-retirement were scarred by swabs with a cardboard-type stick that bent at the drop of a hat. Then The Vermont Country Store came to the rescue. Now I have the swabs I like and find most useful. Thank you for listening to our requests." - Ruth Flucke, Bellingham, WA

"These are the BEST and I have bought in all brands (generic and top of the line). My husband only uses two at a time now instead of five and six of the other brands. This stick really holds up to his big hands and cleaning style when it comes to his ears. He cannot bend or break them, which has always been an issue, as the others seemed to have no push power to reach all around to clean well. This is a terrific product, and I hope The Vermont Country continues to stock it." - Nancy Barker, Brookeville, MD

"It appears that Q-Tips have quit manufacturing swabs with wooden sticks - all you can find is cardboard or plastic. I much prefer wooden sticks because they are stiffer and give better control. I know you aren't supposed to clean your ears that way, but how else are you going to do it? Slightly skinnier sticks than the old Q-Tips, but seem good quality and work like I want them to." - William Cathcart, Stone Harbor, NJ
