As a non athletic "Super Senior" I have been experiencing considerable difficulty attempting to cut my toenails (unfortunately they seem to grow faster than my hair). They are very tough and ordinary clippers are neither sharp enough and have too narrow a gap to properly position the nail. These scissors, while not outstanding cutlery, do the job and don't require contortions to use.

The long handle scissors is so easy for my wife to use. The old story--if wife is happy than I am happy. She has been looking for a scissors such as this for a long time and the price is also very acceptable.
Also---having to make a few phone calls to The Vermont Country Store I was so pleasantly pleased by the concern and kindness of the employees.
Thank you very much.

Surprised at Vermont Country Store for carrying this product. Scissors are too weak. Should be steel/chrome. I am keeping them since they are better then nothing, but will be looking for a quality product with more strength for a clean cut.

Sorry, these just didn't work out for me at all. Very large scissors and difficult to use. I'll keep them to use on the dogs and cat's toenails.

Due to a worsening of back problems and new immobility issues because of them, I have partial numbness and a floppy right ankle that pronates and makes it difficult to reach my toenails when they need to be clipped. The long handled scissors have made this task so much easier and I have the ease of mind that I'm not blind cutting. Thanks!

The long handled scissors are lacking in two ways, the handles need to be longer, they actually looked longer in the picture than when received. the handle itself seems to be designed for a woman with relative small hands, difficult for a mans larger hand & fingers. Quality seems satisfactory, but just need to be a larger size for a mans use.
