As fair weather approaches, our weather stick reaches toward the sky. When the weather begins to turn, the stick points to the ground. Changes in barometric pressure set it moving. Each slim stick comes with a brass nail for mounting outside on a wall or window frame. Vermont farmers keep one on the porch. Approx. 14", lengths will vary.

  • Barometric pressure makes it work
  • Up means sun's on it's way, down means the weather's turning for the worse

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Vermonot Weather stick My family is now in it's third generation of having the Vermont Weather stick just outside our kitchen window. We all love to watch the stick and compare its message to the "weatherman" on TV..... While it is a conversation piece, we have found our Vermont weather stick to be a bit more accurate!! We love our weather stick. Recently a squirrel decided to test out my weather stick and unfortunately destroyed one that had been on my house for 10 years. It wasn't long before we replaced the damaged weather stick with a new one. My house will not be without a weather stick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dependable Weather Predictor Purchased the weather stick to replace the one I had for 20 years. I check out my weather stick before I go to the weather app or weather on t.v. It has never, never been wrong! Can't explain how it works, but I will never be without one!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weather Sticks Weather sticks apparently don't care for California weather they haven't moved since we mounted them on our rear West facing deck. But still a novelty when folks visit and ask about them. Gave one to my brother for Christmas and he reported the same results (he lives close to me). Not that expensive and we will keep them as a conversation piece.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weather sticks We saw this on a cousin's house in Maine and it is always a conversation starter. It is an accurate weather predictor. It is just a nice little added touch to the outside of the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun item! Previously I had ordered "weather sticks" from Vermont for myself. A friend of mine was intrigued as to how they worked & had a desire to have their own. So I ordered two for them. Currently waiting to see how they like them. Problem is: So. California needs rain!
