Solid as a rock Could not spread on anything, especially after being in refrigerator. I had to throw it away after using it only once. I think it may have been old after seeing the other reviews. Maple butter is so pretty in the little bottle a shame to open it. Don't just look at it! Get a spoon and open the darn thing. It is every thing they said it would be. Delicious right out of the jar. wish it came a larger container.Think anyone that likes maple taste and peanut butter texture should order it for your self.Heck instead of wine, the next party you go to take the maple butter put it in a little gift bag with a bow.( Make sure there are no allergies) That wouldn't be nice.Open and enjoy. Ages 8 To 108 Will LOVE This Maple Butter! I do a lot of volunteer work with seniors, and one year I gave many of them a jar of this amazing Maple Butter. They were so delighted, you would think I handed them $100 bills! This stuff is great with peanut butter on a sandwich, or by itself on toast, English Muffins, or pancakes! Christmas Morning Each member of our family finds a jar of Vermont Maple Butter under the tree on Christmas morning. We all love the maple butter on toasted, buttered English muffins as part of our Christmas breakfast.
