Smaller than Expected A nostalgic purchase, but a bit disappointing upon arrival. Although it's cute and reminiscent of those we had as kids, the photo made it appear much larger (see the fork!). First time The first time I ever had maple syrup, I was young. Oh lord what a heavenly flavor. I just couldn't get enough, but it being just out of the depression, just getting the what was then in the tin log cabin maple syrup was something that was hard to come by and when you did get it. It was just something you wanted to hold on too. Some of the maple syrup made now days just don't taste like it did back then, it just don't have that warm golden flavor. I would recommend anyone to try maple syrup above all others for very good pancake syrup. November 6, 2012
