Immensely popular in the 1950s, these caroler candles have been sorely missed since disappearing from the market years ago. We're able to make them once again, just like the originals. They look festive on a table, mantel, or any area that's in need of a little holiday cheer. We recommend buying two sets, one to burn and one to cherish.

  • Limited supply
  • Look just like the ones you had while growing up
  • Each measures 3" tall

Right back to my childhood A set just like these used to grace the top of our piano with evergreens during the Christmas holiday season. I remember Mom never lit them, said they were too cute and didn't want to "loose" them by burning them. I was thrilled to find these a few years ago. They mean even more to me now since all my family is now gone and this is a dear, precious reminder of the days when we were all together. I , too, use them just to look at, don't ever want to be without them. January 22, 2015
Christmas Memories My goal this year was to give my wonderful mother the gift of an old-fashioned Christmas by giving her gifts that reminded her of her childhood and ours. The Vermont Country Store made that possible. My mother enjoyed every gift including these fantastic candles, which we had as children, but that were damaged over the years. Being able to replace them was special. January 4, 2014
Childhood revisited I have been looking for these candles for years.I am so glad they have been revived.I had them for years growing up...until I was finally allowed to light them...and then the end result was melted faces,no heads, etc.and since then I haven't seen them anywhere. Unfortunately,Santa and reindeer were sold out,but I will get them later. I wish you would revive all the candles Gurley made,Thanks! January 4, 2014
Nostalgia My family had carolers like these when I was a small child. My sister and I would set them up with little candle trees as a display on an end table. They were never burned, but after the holiday were carefully wrapped in tissue paper and packed away for the next year. There was something magical about them. I ordered them for a friend who is my age and she was equally excited. Thank you for offering products that rekindle delight. January 4, 2014
Cute! These cute little candles take me back to my childhood; just like to ones my Grandma used to have. January 1, 2014
Holiday Memories In the early 1960's my elementary school sold these candles as a fundraiser. I still have a few of the originals. I was looking for a different type of candle when I came across these on the website. I thought my siblings would appreciate a little piece of our holiday memories. I ordered several and sent them to my siblings. They loved them. Everyone recognized them right away. I also bought the Santa and Reindeer. I remember the reindeer and still have two of the original. I don't remember this Santa. I have an original that is slightly different. I hope you will continue making these candles. I would love to purchase the church with the choir boy inside! One thing I did notice is that these choir boys are bigger then the original ones, but otherwise they are great. Thank you for bringing back these lovely memories of Christmases gone by. Child Memories As children we had these caroler's. Mom would bring them out each year and we would wait in anticipation of being able to see them again. We did not burn these candles, but carefully wrapped and save them each year. I am 70 years young and ordered a set for myself and my two sisters for Christmas gifts. I can hardly wait to hear from them after they open these gifts. Thank you for having these in your catalog. December 11, 2013
Tears of happiness! When I saw these in the catalog my eyes teared up. My parents and grandmother had these and as a kid I always set them up on the mantle. Fast forward about 40 years and I see these. When I opened the box I could not help but to get choked up again as I put them out for Christmas. Sometimes it is the small things that mean so much!
