Lanz Cranberry Tyrolean Flannel Nightgown
Ordering my second one!
I had the traditional color Tyrolean flannel gown 25 or more years ago--best gown I ever had! I agree with the other reviewers about how comfy it is. The 54 inch length is the only one long enough to keep my legs warm, and I am only 5'5". I would urge Lanz to make the longer length in other prints. I just bought the Cranberry and I am ordering another just like it because of the length--would prefer a little variety. The fabric is top quality--nobody makes better sleepwear than Lanz! Thank you, Vermont Country Store.

nice and long !
Lanz nightgowns have been getting shorter over the years - the newer ones all seem to start at 50 inches which when washed and dried a few times makes them more like 48 inches long. I am 5'6" and I really appreciate this gown with its extra length. Finally - a Lanz nightgown that approaches my ankles and not my knees. I look forward to more of this length so I can buy several more.

A childhood recalled
Growing up in Northern California parts of our state can drop below -11 that is in the Great Sierras so nights can be cold here too. When I was a child I would receive a Lanz night gown every 2 years or 3 years for Christmas. I loved the heaviness of it....and I have great memories of stepping over the heat register to warm me in the morning....and I would blow up like an air balloon....the quality hasn't changed in 40 plus years and this winter now moving to the Sacramento Valley we have dropped below 20 degrees and immediately I washed my Lanz and put it on and I was transported to a sweet time in my life.
Grant you it is not sexy but boy is it cozy. Thank you Lanz for keeping the quality up all these years.

My daughter asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I said I would love to have a new flannel nightgown. She asked where she could get one and I replied that I had found one in the Vermont Country Store catalog. If it was alright with her, she could just send me a gift certificate. I love my new nightgown and with the extra money on the gift certificate, I purchased some candy that I love from my childhood.

In Search of My Favorite Night Gown
Three weeks before Christmas I became very sick with a 103 fever and severe shortness of breath. I took a shower hoping the misted air would alleviate my dyspnea. I put on my most favorite flannel night gown (Lanz, the red gown) and intended to sit in a chair until I felt better, but I became worse and was not able to breathe at all. I was transported to the hospital via ambulance. The paramedics proceeded to start Intravenous solutions in my hands and arms. I said to them, that I was willing to slide my arm out of the gown and they said we will take care of that at the hospital. Upon arrival, I was so critically ill, that they ended up cutting off my gown in order to send me for a cardiac catherization. When I awakened the next day I was upset about my gown. A nurse in the coronary care unit told me to contact the Vermont Country Store and there I found my Lanz gown and decided on two. I had to return them because they were too large and I am awaiting my 2 replacements. I hope that they arrive soon and that I don't have to repay the $18.00 shipping again. I love looking through your merchandise and do hope to purchase other articles in the future. Thank you for being there.

Continues to be a good product
Nightgowns are well made and generously sized. When our local department stores quit carrying the Lanz nightgowns I went on a search to find them. Thank goodness this great product is carried by The Vermont Country Store.

My Wife, Regina LOVES her new Lanz nightgown
Regina would recommend her new night gown to anyone wanting one, and would lie to say that they could buy with confidence knowing that their new gown will quickly make friends with them the first wearing.
