When you step into our charming 1827 eating rooms at The Bryant House Restaurant, you'll marvel at our stunning antique soda fountain, 1885 barroom, and Bryant Memorial Bedroom upstairs—still furnished as it was a hundred years ago!
Nobody goes away hungry at our house. Enjoy a sit-down meal where, each day at lunch time, we're serving up a wide variety of homemade dishes for every appetite such as our famous Bryant House Chicken Pie, organically raised grass-fed beef, hearty soups, sandwiches, salads and—of course, for dessert—Mildred Orton's original Gingerbread. Mildred's Dairy Bar
For a quick treat or bite to eat, step up to the outdoor window of our newly opened Mildred's Dairy Bar, named in honor of Mildred Ellen Orton, co-founder of The Vermont Country Store. Delight in delicious soft-serve ice cream as well as shakes, sundaes, and cones made with Vermont's own Wilcox Ice Cream. Savor your favorite burgers, hot dogs, fries, and sandwiches, too. Enjoy eating outdoors on one of our many patio chairs, benches, and picnic tables, or in our beautiful screened-in gazebo. Located next to The Bryant House.
