Cheese Tasting
The Plymouth Cheese Factory will be hosting a cheese tasting featuring three of the cheeses made at the Calvin Coolidge homestead. The Plymouth Cheese Factory in Plymouth, Vermont, is one of the oldest cheese operations in the United States, and was founded by John Coolidge the father of the 30th President of the United States, Calvin Coolidge.

Memorial Weekend Pig Roast and Square Dance
The Weston Community Association, in association with the Weston Rod and Gun Club, Weston Women's Club and the Inn at Weston, is pleased to host the sixth sort-of annual Memorial Weekend Pig Roast and Square Dance. This year, the event returns to the Weston Green, with the Cold River Band performing under the portico of The Weston Playhouse and dancing on Park Street. $13 per adult ($25 per couple) and $7 per child 6-12 . Those under 6 are free. Hot dogs will also be available. Wine and beer will be available for purchase.

Weston Historical Tour
The Weston Historical Society will conduct a tour of the town's historic district. The tour will include the early settlement, the heyday, the decline and later revival with an emphasis on the five architects of its resurrection. It begins at the Bandstand on the Weston Green (on Route 100 in the center of town). The tour is just under one mile in length and will last approximately an hour and a quarter. It will end at the Museums of Weston, a very short walk from the Bandstand and the tour's start. Donations to support the Museums accepted.

Roots On The River Music Festival
The fourteenth annual Roots on the River Music Festival takes place June 6-9 in Bellows Falls, Vt. The festival is held throughout the town at a mix of venues: an old mill building at 33 Bridge St., informal locations around the Square, and under the big tent at the Everyday Inn. The series concludes on Sunday with an all-acoustic show at the 225-year-old landmark Rockingham Meeting House. For information and to purchase tickets, go to www.vermontfestivalsllc.com.
