Please read instructions prior to using the unit. Open top lid and insert either Chopping or Fine Mincer blade. See illustrations included with instructions. Make sure the blade is inserted completely. Place the cleaning net on the top lid, align the openings of the cleaning net with the pins on the top lid. Before you start chopping, lift the Base Cover and place the container into the Base of the chopper. Place chosen fruit or vegetable on surface of the balde. For easy chopping, cut the potato or any other hard fruit or vegetable in half. When ready to chop, hold the Base of unit with one hand. With your other hand-lower the Top Lid on to the vegetable or fruit and push down. Depending on the fruit or vegetable, you may have to apply more pressure.
