Served in British homes only at Christmastime as an accompaniment to cheese and roasted meats, pickled walnuts are a U.K. tradition. Carefully selected walnuts are picked before the shells harden then pickled in a proprietary blend of spices and malt vinegar. Chop in half and eat shells and all. Ours are made in Kent by a family in business since 1880. 14 oz. jar.
Pickled Walnuts have been a Christmas tradition in the United Kingdom since Victorian times.
