“There are really no words to describe me elation when I saw Jungle Gardenia in your most recent catalog. My parents were 'courting' during WWII and my dad would frequently buy Jungle Gardenia for my mom. It was her favorite scent, and my dad, not being much of a shopper, felt this was a gift he couldn't go wrong in giving. He was in the Army Air Corp and would therefore fly to many different locations. If there was Jungle Gardenia to be had at any of these places, he would purchase it for my mom. Of course, she thought this was the most romantic gesture in the history of the world. My dad continued to give my mom Jungle Gardenia until it was no longer to be found in stores. Because both my parents always found the glass half full, or even brimming, my mom retained a good outlook on life after my dad passed on several years ago. They'd shared nearly a half century of a happy marriage, and my mom's stories and recollections about her life with my dad are always humorous and joyous. Jungle Gardenia plays a part in many of those recollections so of course I am ordering some. I'm looking forward to giving it to my mom at Christmas.
